Freeze Dried Chicken Bouillon

One of my favorite things to make with my freeze dryer is spice and seasoning mixes freeze dried liquids and herbs. I am slowly starting to replace my pantry staples with homemade versions- sometimes healthier, sometimes maybe not but I always know what’s in my food and I want that. I am definitely still learning and getting inspiration from others but enjoying the process.

I reduced homemade chicken broth and then freeze dried trays of the broth. It’s definitely a lengthy process but it works and the bouillon turned out great. In the future I may try freeze drying chicken with the broth for more protein and volume. I’ll update this post if/when I experiment with that!
