Probiotic Lemonade

This recipe is a great way to get your probiotics and use up your extra sauerkraut juice!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 tbsp sauerkraut juice unpasturized
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 8 oz cold water
  • 1 tsp honey, maple syrup, or sweetener of choice

Optional Add-ins

  • Ice
  • Fresh mint
  • lemon slice for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a glass combine sauerkraut brine, lemon juice, and sweetener of choice.
  • Add water and stir until sweetener is disolved.
  • Taste and adjust lemon or sweetener to your preference.
  • Serve over ice and add optional mint and lemon slice.
