Probiotic Lemonade
This recipe is a great way to get your probiotics and use up your extra sauerkraut juice! You can use any sauerkraut juice you have. I used juice from fermented radishes to make a "Pink" lemonade!
- 3 tbsp sauerkraut juice unpasturized
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 8 oz cold water
- 1 tsp honey, maple syrup, or sweetener of choice
Optional Add-ins
- Ice
- Fresh mint
- lemon slice for garnish
In a glass combine sauerkraut brine, lemon juice, and sweetener of choice.
Add water and stir until sweetener is disolved.
Taste and adjust lemon or sweetener to your preference.
Serve over ice and add optional mint and lemon slice.
